Our Super Tuscan-style wine is produced as a special homage to our Italian heritage and named for George “Baci” Cerruti – an Italian emigrant from Genoa and first generation California grape grower who made his home in Bay Farm Island, part of the city of Alameda, before moving to the Napa Valley. Grandpa Baci would be proud of this Old World-style rustic, well-balanced wine. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and the Italian varietal Sangiovese , this wine features elegant minerality, which hints at the terrior here on the Tudal estate. It opens with a dusty earth nose and flavors of white chocolate, caramel, vanilla bean, rhubarb and cherry pie. – 286 Cases made.
