This beautiful wine arrives from Italy’s Tuscan coast. After destemming the grapes, maceration was done in steel tanks over 10 days in conjunction with
intense pumping and punching down. The Adeo was decanted by being split into steel tanks and barrels for malolactic fermentation. It was aged for 12
months in French oak barrels, then blended and bottled aged for four months. The end result is a wine that is described in contradictions: full yet well
balanced; subtle yet intense. Despite its intense ruby red color, the nose detects finesse in the Adeo with suggestions of currant, pomegranate, sweet
spice and vanilla. The palate perceives dark cherry notes, dark fruits, a touch of herbs and a silky finish with the tiniest bit of tobacco. Enjoyable
immediately following decanting or up to 15 years in a cellar.
A bright, elegant red with morello cherry, black currant and floral notes. This is a pure and fresh red with subtle vanilla, lingering fruit and a spiced finish. Amazingly smooth and delicious.
