Winemaking notes: Grapes for this wine come from our home vineyard on Chehalem Mountain. The fruit was destemmed and the whole berries were allowed to have only minimum contact time with juice before they were lightly pressed. The method preserved the fresh aromas and flavors of Pinot noir fruit: strawberries, raspberries. The wine is fermented dry and with its zingy acidity, pairs well with food and is, in the winemaker’s words, “A patio pleaser.”
